Sorry, but you won’t be able to convince me that the left is generally interested in a free flow of information when it comes to policy making. Look at POTUS. He was elected on the premise that he would a ) change the way DC operated, partisan-wise, and b) get rid of lobbyists as a factor. He’s done just the opposite.
