re: #873 J.S.
If they moved to mexico to escape Mountain lions/cougars/puma depending on your region they made a big mistake. Mexico not only still has Cougars but also has Jaguars which are the largest north american cat and the 3rd largest species of cats behind tigers(1st) and lions(2nd). Jaguars from mexico are making a come back in southern Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona all though these are still only concidered transients as no females have been spotted only males and they aren’t appearing to remain in the same areas they have been spotted, which indicates they are likely younger males seeking a new territory but won’t stay unless they find females with nearby territories.
