re: #970 Obdicut

I don’t think anyone has actually run a sufficient statistical analysis to say ‘less’ or ‘more’.

What clearly, clearly delineates this stuff from the Tea Party crap is that the elected officials of the GOP are saying things just as nutty, off-base, untrue, and whacko as you’ll find at a Tea Party rally.

Perry claimed that the government didn’t create jobs. Perry, a government employee, claimed that the government didn’t create a single job.

I don’t like Adbusters, and I don’t like a lot of the moonbattiness at the protests. Dressing up as a fairy may be fun, but it just looks ridiculous, just like when the Tea Party dresses up.

That doesn’t mean that the ANSWER and Adbuster and other types aren’t actually radical guys. Hell, I’m not even insulting them. They’re revolutionaries. They’d be insulted if I thought they wanted some slow, incremental change going on.

The elected GOPers were NOT necessarily going on the way you describe until the tea party gained traction. Killgore is pointing out the same danger exists for the left if the OWS organizers get enough attention to gain traction within the Dem party. And everybody’s pissed off with him, for some reason I cannot fathom. I said it before, and I’ll say it again - his track record on these things is good enough folks need to pay attention.
