I’m seeing vague definitions of RINO.

I became a republican because I believe in fiscal responsibility and limited government. So to me a RINO would be one that works against these principles.

But then there are republicans who think I’m a rino because I’m not socially conservative enough for their tastes. I don’t think it’s the governments role to tell me how to live my life if I’m not breaking the law. But I’m a rino because I support real science, I’m a rino because I think homosexuals should be treated equally under the law, I’m a rino because I think Constitutional Amendments to deal with social issues is the wrong approach.

So- what is RINO?
