We had the police walking the streets, in a beach suburb yet, three days ago, and signs put up saying “Coyote Keep Pets Indoors”. This is where one has to cross bridges to get to.

Frankly I doubt it, but somebody said a cat was missing and they saw a skinny dog running down the street.

I believe it. They’re the ultimate survivalists.

Which also means that, unless there’s a rabies scare, not all pets need to stay indoors. They’re smart enough not to mess with a dog their size or larger.

Our chihuahua, on the other hand, is never off of her leash. Between the hawks, owls, and coyotes (typical florida suburb!) she wouldn’t last 5 minutes without us.
