I’m genuinely frightened about a man this demonstrably unstable and psychotic actually being allowed to govern. This flagrant dismissal of the fact that he LOST the popular vote by millions is terrifying because it not only means he’s making up his own reality but that he has utter contempt for the legitimacy of millions of Americans’ citizenship and right to participate in our democracy at all.

You know what?

I am hoping he actually does real, sustained damage to the country at this point. Damage that will take a generation or two to deal with…

…because elections have consequences and the American people who voted for this monstrosity need to fucking understand that and share in all the horror that follows. They need to understand that when papa can’t get his medication anymore…Trump did that. The guy they voted for did that.

They need to understand that when a lot of people die in a fucking war we didn’t need…the guy they voted for did that.

Voting is NOT A GODDAMNED FIT OF PIQUE OR A ROD DREHER SCREAM OF ANGER THAT THE NEW YORKERS ARE LAUGHING AT THE COUNTRY HICKS IN IOWA OR A PROTEST AGAINST TRANSGENDER PEOPLE.

Because that is what they turned it into.

And we…as a country, need to relearn some basic lessons on why the vote is a sacred responsibility and not a fucking reality show.

So I’m hoping Trump is every bit as bad as I think he may be. I hope he fucks things up enough to destroy the economy and institutions here so totally that “White working class voter” becomes an epithet.

If you order a shit sandwich…you hafta eat it.

If I have to share in the experience, I want the fucker who actually bought it to get a nice case of cholera and food poisoning.
