I think, at least for the guys driving the rental trucks, it’s simple ignorance. They weren’t paying attention to the height of the truck when they rented it, they figured it didn’t LOOK 12’ tall, so what the hell? It’s the semi drivers or the guys driving their own trucks that I find more problematic. Like, what the actual fuck, those guys should absolutely know they won’t make it under.
