San Diego is now under the so-called “atmospheric river”, but with the low pressure system behind it speeding up and heading east we’ll only get rain until sometime later this morning.

Up in central California they had near two days of rain. Too much in one time, but at least the Sierra Nevada got some snowpack.

Where I’m at we’ve only had about a half an inch of rain since this started, but we need more. Unfornately the burn areas are on mountain slopes which are are going to get more rain, and that will cause some danger.
