I own a rare Great Society album — but it’s a regular studio recording, if I remember. What you have must be a bootleg!

The Great Society, Grace Slick, Jefferson Airplane and the rest of the “San Francisco sound” were all discovered because of the We Five: due to their success in ‘65, agents and scouts flocked to San Francisco looking for new talent. (Slick was also said to have modeled her singing after Bev Bivens, the We Five vocalist!)

undoubtedly…. OPSEC is such a bitch or i’d say let’s swap copies.
