Where I live on the Mediterranean this was the very first year that we had to use A/C all day and all evening long. We were stuck in a 3 month heat and humidity cycle that didn’t break until this week, while for the past 16 years it was always hot and dry during the day with a nice breeze, and brisk in the evenings. In the past, we used A/C for barely 3 days each summer.

I read that the same humidity cycle happened this year in Los Angeles, which has a similar climate, for the first time ever.
