Freetoken is quite right. Watts’ argument falls apart under analysis. If you eliminate every single station he doesn’t like, the trend is virtually identical.
Further, crosspatch has not backed up his claim that 1993 was warmer than 1998. I can claim yesterday was 115F in the shade as long as you don’t ask me for proof.
