John Fund has an interesting article in the WSJ today entitled “Why Palin Quit: Death by a Thousand FOIAs”. It is sickening to read how a decent woman could be attacked so viciously — to the point where she can no longer perform her job as Governor — essentially because she holds socially conservative views. It is one thing to have a spirited debate; it is quite another to mount a campaign of personal harassment and character assassination. It is scary thinking about how fast this country is falling apart.
