Yeah, mine wasn’t a kit, but from a pro photographer friend who was getting out of SLR in favor of the Fuji mirrorless system. He’d already sold his wides to another photog, so I got the body (and a nice battery pack/speed drive) and the 50mm. I bought the other, thinking I’d use the longer length more. Should have thought that through better.
I knew I leaned landscapes, so the wides have always been a draw, and I did some serious research before plunking down for the Pentax. At the time it was best value for money, *especially* on the low-light end. None of the photos I’ve posted have ever used flash.

(I might admit to careful editing in post-process though.)
