I need to take some time traveling and camping in the Great Basin. GB National Park is on my list.

The desolation of the central part of Nevada intrigues me so. I hear it’s like the surface of the moon with a few snow-capped mountains in between, that sounds absolutely gorgeous to me.

Great Basin National Park is one of the gems of Nevada. It’s remote enough that there aren’t a lot of visitors. Wonderful camping there. I love the fact that there are so many places to go in Nevada where you won’t see a single person, and since most of it is BLM land, there are lots of spots to get away from it all.
