It’s not even just the anti-choice position. It’s the anti-birth control and emergency contraception position. It’s the slut shaming and victim blaming when it comes to issues related to rape and sex, just like Rush does here. It’s the trivialization of women’s issues, and of women in general.

There are plenty of reasons for most women to look at the GOP and decide to take a pass.

Yes, yes, and yes. These days, I’m probably one of the more conservative Lizards, but as long the the GOP persists in this anti female agenda, I cannot register as a Republican or give them a dime of my money. I can still see myself voting for some Republicans who are closer to the center and do not support the anti female agenda, but most of them are in the northeast and have limited appeal to Republicans around the country. I hope that somewhere along the line, the GOP grows up and realizes that there may be others like me out there.
