Ugh. I do wish Mr. Donohue would stop reminding me of his existence. He remains as he always has, more concerned with protecting the institution of the Church than he is with protecting its soul and mission.

So do most of the bishops and cardinals in charge. Why else would they cover up and try to downplay abuse, or shuffle priests around to different parishes instead of confronting the problem head on?
