Maybe I’m the only person who recalls the right’s reaction to McCain dealing with that crazy, bigoted woman in red. They didn’t condemn her, they attacked McCain.

I’d like to think I wasn’t the only person who thought perhaps a more proactive effort would keep more of the crazies away instead of playing defense on the issue.

I recall it, and I thought it was one of Mccain’s finest moments. I did not think the lady was a hater, maybe just believed some of the hate e-mails floating around.
