WaPo Compares Genuine Memo with Forgery
The Washington Post compares a genuine typewritten memo signed by Jerry Killian with one of the CBS forgeries: Differences in Documents. I’m no handwriting expert, but there are some very obvious differences in the two signatures that the Washington Post does not point out. Notice the top right bar of the K; in the genuine memo it turns down at the end. In the forgery, it turns up.
I did my own Comparison to a Genuine Typewritten Document back on September 13, including an overlay of an attempt to duplicate the format with Microsoft Word (which I could not easily do); glad to see the Washington Post trying to catch up.
