Huffington Exposes Lizardoid Conspiracy
Shhh!
Arianna Huffington is on to us: Bush supporters using their ‘lizard brains’.
“People are operating in a fear-induced state, which is very dangerous in a democracy,” said Arianna Huffington, named by Newsweek and People magazines as one of Washington D.C.’s most influential commentators. …
“Thanks to the Bush campaign’s unremitting fear-mongering, millions of voters are reacting not with their linear and logical left brain, but with their lizard brain and their more emotional right brain,” she wrote.
She referred to the works of Dr. Daniel Siegel, a Harvard-trained psychiatrist and author of an upcoming book on how the brain works. Huffington, who previously said she criticizes both parties, did not criticize Kerry in her pre-debate speech.
Huffington noted Vice President Dick Cheney made one point three times in the vice presidential debate: “The biggest threat to Americans is the possibility of terrorists smuggling in a nuclear or biological weapon into a city and threatening hundreds of thousands of Americans.”
She said the Republicans have moved the question from “Which candidate would you rather have a beer with?” to “Which candidate would you rather give you your blankie and bottle and keep the bogeyman away?”
Notice how the left’s rhetoric has devolved to a complete denial of the threat of terrorism. For Huffington, terrorism isn’t even a nuisance; and being concerned about nuclear or biological attack is childish.
