WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Three men were charged in Ohio with conspiracy to kill people and planning attacks against U.S. forces overseas, a federal law enforcement official said on Tuesday.
The official said the men were involved in a conspiracy to “recruit people for jihad overseas.” He said they were also training people how to use improvised explosive devices on U.S. forces in Iraq.
The men, two of whom were arrested in Toledo, were charged in Ohio and were expected to appear in court later in the day.
