Cycle of Violence: Visible Glass

Today’s ride: not a biggie, just 35.09 miles. I took a week off from riding (which I do every couple of months), and this was the maiden voyage, so to speak. If you will. As it were. So it was a lightweight day with no climbing, a few harder intervals but nothing that went into the anaerobic zone. Bike path saboteurs had broken several large glass bottles in a couple of spots, but as usual I rolled right through them (crunch!) without getting a flat tire. (You only get flats when you don’t see the glass.)

 Frank says:

If you wind up with a boring, miserable life because you listened to your mom, your dad, your teacher, your priest or some guy on TV telling you how to do your shit, then YOU DESERVE IT. -- From the Real Frank Zappa book.
