Drudged

The internet firehose known as the Drudge Report linked to our post about the Oregon anarchists who burned a soldier in effigy, and overwhelmed our tubes. I got them to change the link to the original Facebook site, and we’re rerouting the remaining Drudge traffic there as well. Things should return to normal soon.

Meanwhile, a lot of the Kos Kidz think the whole effigy-burning thing was a setup, possibly involving Karl Rove: What was the real story in Portland?

At Newsvine, someone posted the link to LGF and stirred up a hornet’s nest of indignation. The effigy-burners are not “leftists,” you see, even though they always seem to show up at leftist rallies: People (Not Leftists) Supporting the Troops.
