This evil scumbag has been granted “director” status on YouTube: YouTube - Daniel Pearl I Am Happy You Are Dead :)

I would say “shame on YouTube,” but by now it’s pretty clear where they stand on issues like this.

UPDATE at 7/13/07 8:10:42 am:

Correction: several readers emailed to say that YouTube no longer “grants” director status; you choose it yourself in your profile settings. The point still stands; I know for a fact that the video has been flagged as objectionable many, many times—and it remains posted.
