Obama's Official Blogger: A Hardcore Marxist

Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 8:45:59 am PDT

Barack Obama’s “official campaign blogger,” Sam Graham-Felsen, is a hardcore Marxist—and even leftists like this are disturbed by his presence on the campaign staff: Sam Graham-Felsen stands for what?

UPDATE at 4/23/08 10:28:55 am:

Here’s an article by Sam Graham-Felsen at the Harvard Crimson, expressing his admiration for anti-American academic Noam Chomsky, and advising him to tone down the extreme rhetoric in order to trick the unwashed masses into following along: Chomsky’s Choice.

Here's the problem - summed up in a nice tidy bowl for you.

Obama grew up surrounding himself with leftists, marxists, socialists, communists, and anti-American terrorists (to say nothing of Tony Rezko and his criminal ways). He's never separated himself from them and their ilk, and they continue to stick around, even after the media finally gets a whiff of what's really going on.

Bill Ayers? Weather Underground terrorist - financier for Obama fundraiser.

Jeremiah Wright - racist pastor for Obama and his family for 20 plus years, and yet he can't recall hearing anything racist? Selective hearing on Obama's part - because Oprah was a member of the same church and left when she got uncomfortable with the message.

We've seen that his staffers all over the country have no problem cheering for the likes of Che (pasting them to the walls of his campaign offices), so it was only a matter of time before we'd find that his upper echelon of advisers and workers are Marxists, socialists, and red-diaper babies (waaaahambulance not included).

Heck, we've repeatedly seen and noticed that Obama campaign literature looks like its been lifted from 1950s Soviet style propaganda. There's a reason for that - he's got hope and change in mind, and I'm sure if he thought long enough, there'd be a five year plan involved too.

Thats exactly what I was thinking.....most Marxists come from well-to-do families that would march us Lizards into the "showers" if they had 1/2 a chance.

I think they grow up having everything handed to them, that they think that's how the real world works. Everything for free, and it costs society nothing.
And college, where they should learn reality, is full of Marxists, so they just get reinforced, with their majors in frat parties, etc.

Bernadine Doern - Weather Underground terrorist. Ditto.

Saul Alinsky ring any bells?

Jeremiah Wright - racist pastor for Obama and his family for 20 plus years, and yet he can't recall hearing anything racist? Selective hearing on Obama's part - because Oprah was a member of the same church and left when she got uncomfortable with the message.

Also, the only criticism of Obama that seems worthy to discuss is whether or not he flipped her the bird (they're sure he would never!). Mo mention of his plan to throw out Nafta (just kidding, Canada), no mention of the money from Rezko, no mention of his associations with unrepentant terrorists. I'm fairly sure there was also no mention of bombing Pakistan, but I was starting to seize up at this point...

Obama's terrorist connections:

1. Nadhmi Auchi Iraqi Baath party member & Saddam crony, billionaire arms dealer. Obama attended a reception held by Tony Rezko in Auchi's honor.

2. William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, unrepentant Weathermen bombers. Obama served on boards with Ayers, considers him a friend.

3. Rev Jeremiah Wright: Obama's pastor, he once traveled to Libya with Louis Farrakhan to receive a "humanitarian award" from dictator & terrorist supporter, Muammar Qaddafi.

4. Hatem El-Hady: currently fundraiser for Obama campaign, former chairman of Kindhearts "charity", closed by the US government in February 2006 for terrorist fundraising and all its assets frozen. Kindhearts was an operation of the Holy Land Foundation (another "charity" closed for funding terrorists).

5. Mousa Abu Marzouk, as Hamas deputy political director, he acted as Jimmy Carter's host during his visit to Syria. Before he was convicted & deported from the US, Marzouk was a senior director of the Holy Land Foundation and a Hamas agent.

6. Gaza Palestinians campaign for Obama ...with Hamas' approval.

7. Carter hints at Obama endorsement While technically not a "terrorist connection", Carter's presence here does close an interesting circle.

My guess is we haven't seen all of it yet, either.

When will the "serious" "Journalists" start questioning the candidates about the kind of people or actual persons the candidates will be seeking to appoint to high positions in their administration if elected? While Tony Resko is likely no longer viable as Obama's top choice for Sec of Health and Human Services, perhaps he has a spot for Bill Ayers at Defense or Dick Durban as Sec of State.
What would a Hillary Cabinet look like? She seems to have had a lot of influence in getting Janet Reno appointed, and it is likely that Jamie Goerelick would follow in her footsteps as AG. How does a former General Clark sound as Sec Def?

We're watching the Democrats warily marching towards Denver as though they know that Sherman is lurking for them in the mountains above the city as they meet in closed session to figure out what to do about two candidates neither of whom will go away quietly.

Still, you'd think that all these connections to terrorists, communists, marxists, and hard leftists would begin to affect how voters think of Obama. They aren't - at least not in the primaries becuase enough of the core Democrats are red diaper babies themselves.

Hey, aren't you the government worker who referrs to the people who pay taxes to pay your salary as "Silly Villians" ?

Why, yes you are!

piss up a rope.

i'm a (supposed to be) retired National Guard member. assuming i ever get them to admit i completed 20 years of honorable service, i will start getting a (very) small check after i reach 60, which is more than a few years away. since i was "only" an M-day Soldier, i spent my weekends, vacation time, and a good portion of my physical health serving this country, and getting paid very little to do it. i also didn't qualify for any health care benefits, rations or housing payments, educational support or anything else that active duty types get as a matter of course. you obviously have me confused with some other form of government w*rker.

as for the term you object to, it's "sillyvillian" and refers to that subset of the populace who knows little or nothing about the arcane ways of the military and would rather pontificate from ignorance, rather than educate themselves as to the realities of life. it's too bad you feel the shoe fits you so well, but if you didn't make such a fuss, most folks would likely not notice.

That's because, deep down, they DO understand the course of their actions, so they work hard to set up a system in which they are not subject to their laws.

Once that happens, they have no problems with any sort of oppression.

Certainly. It's just an easier way for them to accumulate assets, by stealing it from others than by working for it.

Karl Marx was one of the laziest bums theres ever been. If you read his writings from the perspective of a lazy bum trying to figure out how to blame the world for his own shiftlessness and how to steal assets from others for himself, it fits.

You'd prefer it if people didn't draw attention to your arrogant attitude towards the civilian population, I'm sure.

Which is why it should be brought to light.

Your wording and apparent attitude remind me of a Roads and Bridges engineer from Los Angeles who said in an interview that while the people (with a tone of disgust with the word people) elect mayors, HE runs the city, as unless he says so, no roads get repaired or built.

You do know that as a government employee of any level, you SERVE the people, right?

Your apparent attitude of disgust towards the "silly villians" that pay taxes for your pension does nothing but cause you to have less esteem and respect in the eyes of others.

Of course, what do I know? According to you I'm an idiot.

Sure, probably won't happen again for a while but I'll let you know.

I just told one College to go take a hike. They were asking me to teach an internet class with an inferior text that was actually teaching the students wrong stuff. I contacted the publisher and got them to admit to multiple errors. I told the Dept. Chair that the text was inferior and that our students derserved better. The Dept. Chair response was that they did not care, and to just deal with it.

So I told them I would not have my name connected with a College that used inferior text material and resigned effective with the end of this term.

But I've got others with standing offers for me to teach for them, so I'll let you know.

This is the paradox that I sense: The more I learn about Obama the more I fear he would do great harm to the United States. I would much prefer that Hillary Clinton take the democratic nomination because the evil you know is much better than the evil you do not know. However, somewhat reliable national polls show that McCain would be favored over Obama. These same polls show that he is behind slightly against Clinton. Also, I have a hunch, that Hillary supporters are more likely to vote for Obama than vise versa when it comes to the national election.

My point is that we should be careful what we wish for...If Hillary does pull off this "miracle" and wins the nomination, she will pick up some serious momentum which will of course be fueled by the MSM. And of the 2 Democratic candidates, she has not taken any truly serious damage that can be exploited. BO has and is a "dead man walking" in a national election. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE HILLARY CLINTON.

it also means not trying to place one set of experiences or rules onto an entirely different set of circumstances and proclaiming that they are equal.

GWB has been president for nearly eight years, and he launched two wars. He has consistently been unwilling to fund those wars by making the true cost part of the federal budget or by asking for increases in the size of the military. It's a little late to blame everything that is wrong in the world on Bill Clinton.

You have links for this stuff, right?

re: #349 redc1c4

you're also supposed to get a yearly accounting of your retirement status, so you can deal with issues like this in a timely fashion, but i only received 2 in 20 years. i suppose you'll tell me that's my fault too.

Yup, if it is something I'm supposed to have, I guess I ought to take the responsibility for making sure I have it. Personal responsibility is a wicked bitch.

so now i'm supposed to go up to OTAG every year, on my time, and force them to do their j*bs? why don't you take care of that for your servants?

since you're harping on the fact that Soldiers like me are servants to citizens like you, i'll remind you of this management truism: if you don't want your staff thinking you're a moron, don't act like one.

First, my point was that someone who serves the public shouldn't refer to them as 'silly villians'.

Second, someone who doesn't even follow through to make sure they have the records they need isn't in much of a position to refer to me as a moron.

and, as i pointed out, i *do* have those records, so what does that make you, the poster child for reading comprehension?

ever thought of enlisting as a 2LT? you have a natural aptitude for it.

Ahh... trashing officers... and personal insults.

All you have left is typing in all caps, right?

experience has shown that officers primarily exist to attend meetings and sign for stuff, but i've got a quote i'm sure you'll agree with:
"Enlisted men are stupid, but extremely cunning and sly, and bear
considerable watching."

why don't you take care of that for your servants?

Personal responsibility means I take care of what I need and YOU take care of what you need.

Lieutenants don't enlist.

true enough, they are commissioned, but there is an enlistment type process involved, because unless you are directly commissioned after completion of an ROTC program or the ilk, you are a cadet of one sort or the other. Lance can take his happy ass on down to the nearest Guard recruiter, enlist an an EM in the MOS of his choice, although, with his professed expertise in the field i'd suggest personnel, so he can mend the errors endemic in that CMF, thereby ensuring that all Soldiers finally have their pay & records straight, and stipulate in the contract that he wants to attend State OCS. in just over a year, assuming he completes the course, he'll be an officer and be able to put irritating enlisted swine like me in our rightful place.

I know a few rescue divers who may take that as a insult. Just maybe. (-:

Coasties do some dangerous stuff! From boarding and chasing dope smugglers to rescues. They have all my respect! But, being Navy I couldn't resist....

I'm curious, but given that it is a public forum, I won't ask.

My dad was in Boot with a guy named Sample.

They called him Simple as, while he wasn't 'slow' . . . he just couldn't catch on to how to do things.

"Private Simple?"

"Sir Yes SIR!"

"See that jeep?"

"Sir Yes Sir!"

"Crawl under it and die!"

He also remembers having a guy break down, get into a fetal position, and start sobbing when the DI told him to go run across the base and back.

It was something like that for me. My last name is very different (german) and it ends with rider.
So ever sh*t job that came along. guess who got picked.

440 Fasternu426  Wed, Apr 23, 2008 12:28:19pm

Every branch of the US military is great! They all compliment each other. They are what keeps this country great, not America hating protesters and hippies! I'd rather have a dumbass E-2 gun bunny than a Harvard -Law grad any day!

Heh. My dad learned that sometimes when they're really tearing into you, it is because they see what you can become.

re: #440 Fasternu426

Very true. Extra respect goes to any soldier, in my book. (unfortunately, anyone can also LOSE respect through prickish behavior)

He knew his stuff. I'll say that for him.

I liked him too. Some of the medics & fire fighters didn't, but they had never been in the service.

So was that you Lance. i knew it

452 Fasternu426  Wed, Apr 23, 2008 12:56:59pm

I was a cop for years, and I asked every field trainer I knew if they would rather have a vet or a college grad. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM said a vet. When asked why, they said they vets followed directions while they were being trained. The college kids wanted to know "why" and complained that "this wasn't how they taught me in the academy" and "the last trainer didn't do it like that"t. The vets were smart enough to know that while they were training under that particular trainer, they were to do it his/her way to get past them. Once on their own, they could do things their own way!

Heh-gettin a kick out of listening to the reminiscing about service, I was in from 61-67, and this military is light years different from mine. I wore the uniform with PRIDE, yet when i see these young men and women serving today, I feel humbled.

re: #448 LanceKates

I tried doing a prank like that once. I had some chemlights and helium balloons. It was near a very big airport in Texas. I was going to string the lights under the balloons with some tinfoil to help reflect the light and possibly give a radar signature. While putting everything together, I cut my hand open and had to go to the emergency room. It seemed like a good idea at the time.....

re: #453 irongrampa

I know how you feel. While at MEPS, I saw all branches. Nearly all of them were younger than me. I saw a young Marine Sgt walk past me, he nodded at me as he walked by, and I realized that I was old enough to be his daddy! It felt good to see them and know I was getting back into that world! Seeing twenty somethings with combat patches and rows of ribbons at such a young age made me see again that this is the greatest country in the world STILL! Obama and his communist-America hating friends be damned!

I didn't say they would be anointed ones - I said his choices matter.

His choice of wife- his choice of church- his choice of throwing granny under the bus... they all matter.

But you knew what I meant. Good try at deflecting though!

It gets worse. His mail carrier is a communist, his dry cleaner is opposed to water fluordation, and his auto mechanic was once stopped for running a red light. Where will this stop?!?

You..
brush off affiliations.

Those of you who are so worried about Obama's blogger should go to the link Charles has provided and scroll down a bit to the article about how the Army has increased the number of people it has admitted under moral waivers in order to meet recruiting goals. I find that more troubling, both for what it says about how the military has been used and what it says about what might happen to it, than I find the musings of Obama's twenty-something website administrator, and I'd imagine quite a few senior military people feel the same way.

You..
pull in statistics that get good play at Daily Kos, but are statistically insignificant (A fraction of 1% of the total number of recruits)

GWB has been president for nearly eight years, and he launched two wars. He has consistently been unwilling to fund those wars by making the true cost part of the federal budget or by asking for increases in the size of the military. It's a little late to blame everything that is wrong in the world on Bill Clinton.

You..
blame Bush for problems with the military

You..
must be a moonbat. But that's Just My View.

Well... it walks, squawks, and flys like a Marxist Duck - got to be a Marxist duck, Jeb.

Pennsylvania had a 1 day Marxist duck season yesterday & those bible totin, bigoted, xenophobic, white Christians duck hunters sure got their bag limits (63% vote for Clinton in rural counties)

Still.... wait til the national fall duck season begins after a Summer formal Marxist duck identification campaign sponsored by the RNC is aired!

Woodint want to that kind a duck then.
Obama, keep it up and .......... Duck!
