Okay, that was funny as hell.

Charles, I just saw that song on YouTube about 15 minutes ago, and I thought of you.

When I was looking for "Kung Fu Fighting" by Carl Douglas.

I went with someone to go see a Weezer show (so that person wouldn't have to go alone) and was really impressed with their live performance.

They truly rock hard on stage. I am not a fan, but I wouldn't be apposed to seeing them live again.

The 2-liter soda bottle fountain timing and choreography is impressive. They did use club soda, right?

Uh, yeah....I'm glad I have a glass of wine to go with that. Is this the FNDT?

Truthfully, there is NOT enough PORK in Pork 'n' Beans to make MUCH of a difference in taste or otherwise - YES I HAVE CHEATED HERE AND THERE. Bad, bad storms. Greensburg is in the path of what the Weather Channel says looks to be an EF-5, the strongest tornado. That's the same area that was flattened last year. To the north, Hays--a place near and dear to my heart--is about to get hit. There's another one between--from what I can tell--between Greensburg and Hays, near Dodge City.

I made the choice of not sacrificing my lifestyle for a relationship that would compromise my new life after 24+ years of marriage. I am glad that you haven't had a bad experience. We had to get Costco to intervene, even with their extended warranty still in place. When this one goes? We will really look every computer over, or check on Consumer's. My daughter and son in law swear by Macs..I have yet to use theirs in 4 years, but the almost 21-month old boy thinks that he is typing out emails to me! I have them all saved.

NY Grampa uses our old Gateway...not in the best shape, but still works.

Nah! Even Dr. Phil wouldn't be able to figure her out. She could do no wrong and I could do no right in her mind. The children were of the age that they could choose who they wished to be with. After the divorce, I got the kids and the house. I raised them, with her financial help, married off the oldest daughter and put the other two through college. As we speak, she is re-married and I remain single. All my children are doing better than I ever expected. I sometimes wonder just who is happier, her or me? Speaking for myself, I am a very happy camper!

Yeah, that was my initial reaction. Perhaps I've missed it, but I don't recall reading anything about the Syrians closing their terrorist training camps. One would think if they were serious about making peace, a tiny goodwill gesture like that would be in order.

Incidentally, I have had only one occasion (that I am aware of) to speak with a tech supporter in India. I must say, the young lady on the other end spoke better english than most native speakers I know. I would have thought she was an American until we started comparing weather/temperatures and I asked where she was.

Nah! Even Dr. Phil wouldn't be able to figure her out. She could do no wrong and I could do no right in her mind. The children were of the age that they could choose who they wished to be with. After the divorce, I got the kids and the house. I raised them, with her financial help, married off the oldest daughter and put the other two through college. As we speak, she is re-married and I remain single. All my children are doing better than I ever expected. I sometimes wonder just who is happier, her or me? Speaking for myself, I am a very happy camper!

I'm very happy with Grandpa Cracker, but....if anything ever happens that I end up without him, I would absolutely NEVER (ahem) marry again.

I'll make like a fisherman and practice catch and release, though.... LOL

I've found the language there to be much worse than here. We get a bit of obscenities, mostly named at a former presidential candidate; somehow he has an f-word as his middle name.
They really use that word a lot more, and towards each other.
At least this guy doesn't discuss the worst stuff much; the last weeks' posts were largely on what states Obama could win (may he lose all 57 of them)

That's my dog that died Oct. 1 from stomach cancer. She was going on 11 years old, and I'd had her since she was about 7 or 8 weeks old (a gift from my old college room-mate to cheer me up after my mother died). She was a great dog, and I miss her very much... ;(

That was a cool Weezer video. Lots of blogosphere inside jokes. I watch a lot of Weezer on YouTube. One of my favorite bands. Beverly Hills is really good. Same for Say it Aint so. I think that Hash Pipe is one of their best songs, but the video is pretty dumb. A great nightcap is Island in the Sun. Lots more out there.
