Holy Samoyeds! My Ohio Che judge comment is number 2 (after a Charles comment, which I sort of discount anyway, 'cause he owns the place). This must be worth money... somehow!

Charles--

Technical hipster that you are, I hesitate to try to tip you to something but this smells like a Subvert and Profit campaign.

** [Link: www.subvertandprofit.com...]

This site pays people to Digg stories up. Advertisers and Political Campaigns use it.

For the record: you have been amazing at blocking any hate speech on this site and it's sad that you screen grabs of Senator Obama's site --which are *clearly* anti-Jewish hate, cause someone to play the politics of "I will call you what I am." It says more about them than you.

90 hermeneutics  Fri, Jun 13, 2008 7:21:06pm

What I wrote ...

To all at Digg,

Though I love to "digg," I will not dig in your dirt. To castigate all Republicans as "fuckballs" is low even by Democratic/your standards.

Do you think high-minded politics includes allowing your posters to call any Republican a "fuckball," "rabid racist," or "hypocrite?"

Principled opposition to Obama is based on his extreme liberalism, cronyism, tendencies to appeasement, inexperience, gullibility, racialism, international naivety, knee-jerk reaction to capitalism and much, much more -- none of which has to do with his race, which is, frankly, irrelevant. Thus, opposing Obama does not make Republicans "fuckballs" or "racists."

Similarly, your opinion of Little Green Footballs is misinformed and shallow. Little Green Footballs is a popular site among ex-liberals who were shocked by 9-11. The topics discussed are primarily concerned with racism, anti-semitism, Islamic radicalism, winning the war on terror, and protecting Americans from terrorists within our own country. Secondary topics include jazz and the arts (many of its posters are musicians and artists) and everyday life in America.

Check it out -- you'll be pleasantly surprised. [Link: littlegreenfootballs.com...]

Please be fair. And polite. Treat the opposing political party as you expect to be treated.

Oppose ideas, not people.

Thank you,

More along the line of "Charles is a poopy head, and he wears funny shoes!"

I've had experience in this kind of crap before on a site I help moderate, when some members decided they didn't like a decision the owner of the site made.

Question:

Why won't the media cover in more detail the fact that Soros made more than 2 Billion in the sub-prime mortgate security market before it tanked? He got even richer "on the backs" of ordinary Americans...yet Obama doesn't see a problem hanging with him and the MSM seems to have swallowed its whistle when it comes to showing the inconsistancy between Obamas "my s*** doesn't stink" attitude and Soros' major score...its similar to the Jim Johnson situation, and we know how that turned out.

A federal jury on Friday convicted three Toledo-area men of Middle Eastern descent of plotting attacks against U.S. troops overseas and other terror-related acts. Mohammad Amawi, Marwan El-Hindi, and Wassim Mazloum, all of whom are Muslim, were convicted on all counts of conspiring to kill or injure people outside the United States and face sentences of life in prison.

And there will be a glorious age of peace amongst all mankind.

How sadly deluded they are that they do not realize that there are actually millions of people in this world who nurture hatred in their hearts and would jump at any opportunity to kill as many innocent men, women, children, old folks as they could. Bus riders, cafe patrons, train riders, plane passengers, pedestrians. All are fair game to these degenerate ones.

While learning the delicate art of flame-warring on the old Yahoo BBS threads, I discovered that I could out crazy the crazies and give them as good if not better then they could dish out.

Its an ugly game, very tedious and dull. It requires a great deal of work and effort.

Its not for everyone.

LOL, so true.

I think that was the first "newbie" thread I've followed. Someone (I'm sorry, I can't remember who) posted a comment "X" had posted at Jihad Watch and I was too disgusted to remain silent.

One of my best friends for about 20 years was Jewish but she didn't "look Jewish". She used to agonize over what various people said to her. For example, when a boss at her new job said something derogatory about Jews and she didn't say anything for fear of losing her job.

She heard it all. Kind of like Borat but not grotesque (on her part) and not remotely funny.

1. Petition the Warden to give us access to computers here in prison. (we currently are only able to use them while cleaning the offices if some one can distract the guards.
2. Petition the legislature to give us back our right to vote while we are incarcerated. All of us are innocent you know, and its just plain wrong to not let us vote, especially sincethe judges here are elected and we can vote them out.

People also get "gypped"(Gypsies) and are said to "welch"(welsh) on debts, and then there are Indian givers. People "jerry-rig"(germans) when they can't find the right tools and materials. I offended an acquaintance this way, and I regret it, but it is hard to filter all the offensives from our language.

re: #155 SpartanWoman

I have a great swat team at work, so I get to confront them.

Ha. I've encountered a few in the workplace (although it's been a while).

I used to plan where I would hide if one of them showed up with a gun. We didn't have a SWAT team but my boss's window (I had a key to her office) opened up onto the roof, so either that or the concrete walls were going to protect me. Fortunately, it never got to that point.

My crazy-radar is ultra-sensitive. My husband (who is a large man) strides through life without seeing them. I can spot them a mile away.

I felt sorry for them until I had some bad experiences on the subway (when my little girl was with me). After that, who cares what the "experts" say about them being harmless, I'm staying the he** away. I can be compassionate from a distance.

(Note: I'm saying this about strangers. I have family members who are mentally ill and I don't avoid them.)

I once had an employee say that to me.

It stunned him. He asked if I was Jewish. I said no. I think that stunned him as well.

He didn't last.

re: #209 Dianna

I heard that as an adult and was shocked. It took a minute to process it and figure out what the person meant.

That's why I don't say "gypped" anymore. I didn't know until recently that it was considered racist because it was originally about the Roma people. I never had them in mind when I used it but I won't ever say it again.

His entire 'outfit' is slightly different in color in the reflection. You can see his hand in his lap, the side of his face...it's all the same, just distorted by the reflection. The people on the other side are 'clipped' by the glass edge, too.

I'll just have to keep looking at it and see if I can figure it out because I just do not see how the color of his clothes could be distorted that much. I can see a figure be distorted by the reflection, but not such a contrast in color of clothing. I'll just have to keep looking. I know I have seen this pictured posted before and never really looked at it to closely--don't know why it caught6 my eye tonight.

Yes, she does! And she really likes to do it when Grandpa Cracker isn't home. He was off enjoying a dove hunt in Argentina at the time. Poor guy came home Wednesday evening, spent two hours hooking up the generator, went to town to buy gas for it, got it running...and in an hour and a half the power came back on!

I can honestly say that I have never appreciated my swimming pool as much as I did those four days...when you're rural, no power also means no water! I could get the schtunk off me and water the dogs (when the bottled water ran out) because I have a pool. At least we had no property damage. Lots of others in Michigan weren't so lucky...

No other country in the history of this planet has allowed its people the freedoms allowed to us. If LGF was a breeding ground for Racism or Bigotry, I sure as hell wouldn't be here. I would have been kicked out long ago for verbal abuse and violent language. Every one of us has the right to have our voices heard, and our story told, even the dumb and the ignorant. Actually, I'm not anti-muslim, but I am anti-Islam; because I am completely opposed to the ideology of Islam. Any religion that teaches to kill any one who will not convert does not deserve my 'tolerance'.

International neo-fascist left wingers do not understand what fascism means. they throw the word around, but it's laughable they clearly do not understand the tenants of basic fascism: centralized government control. Nationalized health care is fascistic and it's the left's #2 drumbeat (right behind global warming).

Dear "LGF Watch" fucktard.

What race are we supposedly against? Islam isn't a race, not that I'd expect a moron like you to know that.

How much of that fascist woman's underwear have you sold? I see you couldn't get a real woman to model it since it's on a mannequin. Appropriate since most of you strutting dumb-fucks have the cognitive capabilities of a chunk of plastic.

Speaking of women, I've got a crazy theory that most progressive men can't get or satisfy women so they declare themselves warriors for the progressive reich in hopes that, come the revolution, a grateful fascist state will hand them an official state whore to cater to their "particular needs".

So, what is it that you hope to have shoved up your butt on the day that you actually experience a live woman?

I ask only in the interest of multicultural tolerance.

255 joan  Sat, Jun 14, 2008 2:35:01pm

Complaint letter excerpt:

Where’s your outrage against the real hate posted at DU and the Daily Kos? Whenever tragedy strikes a conservative activist, the glee, the obscenities and abuse from the Left are so vile, that blogs like Huffington Post have to completely shut down the comment option. At least LGF deletes and bans the rabid haters.

LGF is blunt, it is very conservative, but is fairly well moderated and very scrupulous in disavowing the fanatical tendencies that plague the movement’s fringes. Our opposites do not.

There is a blatant double standard displayed at Digg, part of the growing movement to re-label conservative views as hate speech. Do you really want to be part of creating a category of political crime?
