The professor of Medical Biochemistry likened the agitation by Muslims for the implementation of Sharia in the country to a liberation struggle and declared that the stiff opposition to the Islamic legal system by non-Muslims was informed by Western anti-Islamic stance.

To liberate the Muslim world from alleged Western domination and oppression, Professor AbdulKareem suggested that Muslim countries must strive hard to possess international might through:

* the acquisition of chemical and nuclear weapons to check the incessant threat from the West;

* the establishment of an Islamic global fund to which every pilgrim to Mecca must contribute at least one US dollar during the annual hajj; and

* the establishment of powerful local and international media networks that would present and project Islam in its true picture.

He emphasized that the attempt by the West to prevent Muslim nations from acquiring nuclear and chemical weapons should be rejected, adding that the implementation of Sharia by Muslims wherever they find themselves should be the beginning of the Islamic liberation struggle.

According to him, it is the right of Muslims in the country to have government Sharia courts established for them irrespective of whether they form a majority or not wherever they live.
