Sarah Palin has such a distant relationship to the truth. Proven again and again and again.
I swear anyone who supports her is doing it for their own personal reason, feeling of slight, whatever. Not based on her “body of work” or experience.

Um, Last I looked the U.S. spends more on its armed forces than the next 15 countries combined.
Oh well. Outrage isn’t logical, nor often based in reality.

It’s actually interesting that the defense spending burden on our economy is about the same as Russia’s and China’s. This despite our spending about the same as the rest of the world. And fighting two wars.
Anyway, there’s no good reason we have to spend as much as everyone else put together, so I’d rather we moved down the list rather up, as Mrs. Palin would like.
