FBI: Oklahoma pastor allegedly kidnapped in Juárez and returned to US
A pastor of the First Hispanic Baptist Church in Guymon, Okla., was allegedly kidnapped in Juárez and returned to the U.S. last week, a FBI spokesman said.
The family of pastor Refugio Villa reported him missing to the Guymon City Police Department on Thursday after they received information via cell phone that he had been taken, said Special Agent Clay Simmonds, spokesman for the FBI.
“He had traveled down there for some dental work,” he said.
Simmonds said Villa was returned to the U.S. about 8 p.m. Friday at the Columbus port of entry in New Mexico
