Koreatown couple beat intruder with golf club
Score one under par for the good guys.
A Koreatown couple sent a burglar to the hospital Monday after beating him over the head with a golf club, authorities said.
The residents who live in the 700 block of Kingsley Drive found the man in their home in the middle of the night.
Rather than cooperating with the intruder’s demands, they beat him into submission, police said.
“They had a golf club,” Officer Kevin Ahn of the Los Angeles Police Department said. “And they struck him with it.”
They then held the man down until police arrived. The suspect had to be treated at a hospital for his injuries.
