Death Panels anyone?
Without any comment on the validity of these policies, why don’t the Democrats make more of this hypocrisy? If this is not rationed health care I don’t know what is.

Sick. And I’m not talking about the patients.

Because they’re clueless as usual, would be my guess.

There actually will be something like death panels in any imaginable system. The alternative is arbitrary decision-making by insurance clerks.

Yes, there will always be life and death decisions or some subset of that, but in this case it would seem that it is a decision by clerks; aka Governor Clerk.

The same can be said for Oregon. The state legislature has forced these kind of decisions for a while.
There always has been and will be choices and decisions made that will make people unhappy.

Let me accept this for the sake of argument.
An insurance clerk’s goal is to deny me care if possible and save the company money. A government clerk that is appointed or elected will sway to political pressure.
I want someone that is obligated to my well being to be the one deciding if my care continues. IMO, if such a panel needs to exist, it should be composed primarily of doctors.
