Biblical capitalism at its finest.

These people are insane.

What an idiot. I feel bad for the kids of Texas that this tool is writing the history that they are taught. He’s a jackass and it’s really pathetic that numerous GOP presidential candidates are hanging out with him.

Render unto Ceasar, asshole.

Anyone who sincerely uses Iron Age folklore to justify any position on tax policy anything in the 21st Century needs to be mocked and kept very, very far from the machinery of government.

You know what else Jesus hated? Assholes. He seemed like a guy that could put up with an awful lot - prostitutes, the poor, the sick, the weak - but he hated assholes.

These delusional assholes think they have a 1-800 line to the divine. You could call them idiot sheep, except science has proven sheep aren’t quite as stupid as people once believed, so that would be an insult to sheep. Shit fucking stupid pegs it.

See, being omnipresent I wasn’t aware God had left America. So why do they have to find Him?

Jesus also believed in tolerance and fair treatment ie an honest days pay for an honest days work. I doubt he would be pleased with the way most companies treat and compensate their employees.

You know what I wish? I wish Jesus (a.s.), Moses (a.s.), and Muhammad (s.a.w.s.) would all come back RIGHT NOW, together, and commence kicking ass & taking names.

these people who profess to love the bible and the constitution know very little about either.

I heard Jesus he drank wine,
I bet we’d get along just fine

It’s interesting that he embraces a literal reading of Luke 19:13-26. The very next verse says those who oppose the President should be executed:

27But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.

It amuses me all of this really. Barton and others like him criticize liberal Christians for in their eyes attempting to make Christianity fit their worldview but here is David Barton attempting to make Jesus Christ who lived thousands of years before Adam Smith wrote the Birth of Nations or reformers proposed minimum wage. He’s a hack and as I said, I do feel bad for the kids of Texas that have this moron’s twisted version of history taught in their schools.

I’m not amused in the least, because as a Christian I can’t stand people like Barton who twist the Bible and history to suit their own (very secular) ends. I’m nearing a fellowship-breaking level of rage at this evil, which is unfortunate since both my parents and in-laws are still caught in this disgusting philosophy.

What’s worse is that what’s taught here gets filtered to other states because of the textbooks that are purchased.

Everyone should be outraged about David Barton and his impact on the Texas SBOE. Their idiocy has a nationwide impact and will affect your kids and grandkids somewhere down the line.

I am awaiting his thoughts on the banking system-you know, where you go and put your money in and collect interest on your deposits. Isn’t that usury? There’s a pretty clear biblical injunction against that. Heck, if you want to quibble about a strict definition of usury-go after payday loans.

Crickets…

I missed this post earlier today. There is a part of me that is glad I did.

Morons like Barton are why religious wars start.

Weapons grade crazy in video.

Sheeeit, I just now got around to watching the video. You weren’t kidding. Reading it is one thing, but when you see them talking about it… O_o
