Murder may be “a signal” to Antinarcotics Adviser
Unidentified gunmen fired several times and killed Alejandro Vásquez, one of the bodyguards of Marino Vinicio Castillo, the Presidency’s Narcotics Adviser, in a confusing incident in the sprawling barrio of Cristo Rey Thursday morning.
The victim, who resided in the northern subdivision of Villa Mella, has been working for the official’s family for many years, and according to elcaribe.com.do, Castillo revealed that he was an Antinarcotics (DNCD) agent.
