Making the tax system regressive, rather than progressive, is one of the primary aims of the GOP in its war to transfer wealth to the elites.

Scott Walker signed Americans For Tax Reforms’ “Taxpayer Protection Pledge,” a vow not to raise taxes on the people of his state.

Low and middle class people have never really been considered "people" to the Republican party, so this isn't really a surprise. Fact is, walking talking people have never been as important as zygotes or corporations.

Now the grandstanding about unions is pretty much over, all the idiots that were cheering on their Great White Hope are left holding the bag.

So, Wisconsonites, how's it feel to be a broke ass cheerleader that just got screwed and left with your skirt around your ankles, and still have to pay your own cab fare home?

I knew you'd love that tag. ;)

And that was my edited version. Wasn't sure CJ would like Fuck the Poor as a tag.

Insert "Kill the Poor" by the Dead Kennedys here. Yeah. This is all part of Rush Limbaugh's take on the poor and them paying their "fair share". Unlike the wealthy assholes who claim to have high rates yet fail to mention the millions of tax deductions they get.

Eat the Rich is a tag I have used here. Have some kennedys to wake up to.

What about the cheesemakers?

And when does Gus's Gulch open up? Sounds more attractive than Galt's.

Depends on who is making the cheese. If it's Kraft Cheese© then it's OK. Gus's Gulch will open on Tuesday.

Those affected most by Walker’s proposal would include low-income families who qualify for the earned income tax credit program, and low-income homeowners who receive tax rebates under the homestead tax credit.

Of course we should tax those people instead of the rich. No one ever got a job from a poor man, right?

It's amazing the lopsided view of economics. 1 rich person only buys one washing machine. 30,000 low income people can buy 30,000 washing machines if payed a decent wage. Who's better for the washing machine manufacturer?

Or in the case of America's favorite pastime, booze. 1 rich guy buys a $300 dollar bottle of wine. 30,000 poor people buy 30,000 6 packs at $7 each. Thus we have $210,000 dollars vs. $300.
