Israel Lawyers Warn Flotilla Ships of Lawsuits
Lawyers, not IDF, at forefront of battle against flotilla
In an effort to prevent the upcoming flotilla into Gaza, the Shurat HaDin Law Center has threatened lawsuits against companies offering services to the participating ships.
In letters to maritime insurance firms and satellite communications companies, Shurat HaDin, an independent non-profit organization, has warned that any companies that provide services that assist in the breach of the Israeli blockade on Gaza will be sued in the United States for aiding the Hamas terrorist organization.
Meanwhile a ship with Americans are calling their ship “The Audacity of Hope” and will take off this month. This ship of moonbats is been supported by the Progressive Democrats of America. Sitting on their advisory board is seven members of Congress…John Conyers, Donna Edwards, Raul Grijalva, Barbara Lee, Jim McGovern, Lynn Woolsey, and Dennis Kucinich as well as Code Pink co-founders Medea Benjamin and Jodie Evans.
Here is their Resolution in Support of U.S. Aid Ship The Audacity of Hope:
RESOLVED – We, the membership of Progressive Democrats of America, by democratic and representational vote, hereby affirm our support and endorsement of the U.S. aid ship The Audacity of Hope, due to set sail for Gaza in October of this year, as an expression of our insistence that Israel meet its obligation to recognize the Palestinian people’s inalienable right to self-determination and end its occupation and colonization of Palestinian lands. As peace and justice advocates, PDA considers it our obligation not only to criticize immoral and illegal acts, but to back up that criticism with action.
