Let me now just point out what an epic media FAIL this whole episode was.
A couple of youngsters reported a guy with what “appeared” to be a gun on campus, yet nothing was ever confirmed.
I want to say that the kids who reported it did the absolutely correct thing, but geeze do I feel for the parents who have kids on that campus right now…..if you were watching any news this morning you would have thought there was actually a copycat of what happened at VT a few years ago. For all we know this guys was toting around a bong underneath a blanket and for that the media goes into full-on panic mode. Epic FAIL
