"It has been for all of recorded history and I think this is a temporary aberration that will dissipate."

Ooof! Now who's in the closet?

I think this is a temporary aberration that will dissipate

Don't be so sure Newt. I said the same thing about you back in the 90's!

If it's just a passing fad, like electricity and interracial marriage, why spend so much time fighting it? Just let people pay the caterers and the florists, let them set up their happy little homes, and wait for them to disappate. It won't be long.

I would say that I wouldn't drag Nero and Elagabalus into this.

Maybe he's right, but I think Newt will go away before gay marriage does.

Sure, Newt. Just because all of YOUR marriages are temporary aberrations that will dissipate...

8 JEA62  Fri, Sep 30, 2011 2:52:24pm

When will the temporary aberration known as Newt Gingrich go away?

9 Artist  Fri, Sep 30, 2011 3:22:42pm

Aww look, Newt thinks he's still relevant.

10 HappyWarrior  Sat, Oct 1, 2011 5:01:32am

Is Newt talking about his own marriage? This guy has no room whatsoever to talk about the sanctity of marriage when he's cheated not just on two wives but two sick wives too.
