Will Fox News Apologize For Calling Maher A Pig?

Fox News called Bill Maher “Pig Maher”.

A childish, schoolyard taunt.

Furthermore, the actual story is from Mediate, to which they appended their gross and stupid headline. I’m sure the author of that story isn’t going to be pleased to have his name associated with such a dumb smear.

Contemptible. I do not personally like Bill Maher, but calling each other animals is beyond idiotic.

EDIT: Apparently this is not a new thing. What the hell? Tabloid journalism.

I understand this. I just don't understand why I "should take heed" because of this posting. I and Obdi agree on maybe 80% of issues, but that doesn't mean I should agree with him on this point.

I think using negative animal insults that aren't idioms is dumb on an individual level, but it's nowhere close to the wild inappropriateness of a goddamn news media organization doing it.

I say fuck a lot. A lot a lot. I call people fucking stupid. I don't think that a media organization should do so.

Speaking of Fox, I've noticed that the comments section of Fox news articles have been disabled for a day or two. I'm wondering if it is related to the fact that Anonymous had issued a threat to take down Fox's website on November 5 in retaliation for their propaganda campaign and endless smears against Occupy Wall Street.

Anyone know what, if anything, is happening -- assuming it's more than just some tech problem with my own Internet access?

Calling Maher a pig only boosts their eyeball counts with conservative bigots.
