Gingrich’s ex-wife claims he wanted an ‘open marriage’

“I said to him, we’ve been married a long time,” Marianne said. “And I just stared at him and he said - ‘but you want me all to yourself. Callista doesn’t care what I do…he was asking to have an open marriage and I refused…that I accept the fact that he has somebody else in his life.”
“No, no, that is not a marriage,” Marianne added.
According to a partial transcript provided by ABC, Marianne said Gingrich and Callista conducted their affair “in my bedroom in our apartment in Washington.”
“He always called me at night,” she said, “And always ended with ‘I love you.’ Well, she was listening.”
