Sandra Fluke ‘Slut’ Comments Mysteriously Vanish From Rush Limbaugh’s Online Transcripts
Super genius Rush Limbaugh is handling the fallout from Slutgate in exactly the sort of mature, thoughtful, constructive way you’d expect a plagiarizing teen to handle being caught cheating on his homework — by erasing the evidence in a ham fisted manner and hoping that everyone will just forget about it. It seems that transcripts containing the radio host’s now-infamous “slut” and “prostitute” comments have evaporated into thin air. Like magic!
Sharp eyes at The Atlantic Wire noticed that online transcripts from Limbaugh’s February 29th and March 1st have disappeared like so many ad spots during Limbaugh commercial breaks. Also newly and conspicuously absent is Limbaugh’s demand that Sandra Fluke and every woman who uses insurance to purchase birth control present the American public with an internet sex tape as payment for goods received.
Evidence of Limbaugh’s particularly idiotic comments aren’t completely scrubbed from the site, though; another segment from a March 1 show contains a replayed clip of Limbaugh insulting Sandra Fluke and Limbaugh’s response to himself, and that little bit of Limbaugh-on-Limbaugh autofellatio is still online for the perusing.
This is how the right wing prefers to deal with problems: with lies, delusions and denial.
