Bryan Fischer says he is actually Mitt Romney’s “best buddy” and that if Romney wants to win in November, he’s better start listening to Fischer.

Its a moot point. If Romney heeds team hate, he loses the moderates for sure. If he somehow manages to win swing voters, it’ll cost him the wingnut base. (not that the wingnuts would ever vote for Obama. But they’ll turn out in droves for some wingnut third party) Either way, Romney can’t beat Obama. Such is the price of trying too hard to appeal to the most divisive a-holes in modern politics.
But come on. Who didn’t see this scenario coming since last year?

Oh, please listen to him, Mr. Romney. Pleeeeease!
This will be as much fun as when Heinrich Himmler was put in charge of Army Group Vistula in WWII.

So, just the mention of German history now qualifies as Godwin? I’ll politely disagree with you.
But if it makes you feel better I’ll use an American example. This will be as much fun as when George McClellan was in charge of The Army of The Potomac.

Why would you suddenly start taking advice from someone who has been your worst enemy up until now?
The Evangelicals who are his friends have been quietly on his side from the start.

Not to mention the fact that mentioning Hitler (not Himmler) in an online discussion is a confirmation, not a violation of Godwin’s law (as that law is merely predictive, not prescriptive).
