Honest to God, I really need some help. This is the first time in my life I've worried about somebody other than myself. If he harms her, I'll probably never know, if he doesn't, I still won't know. I just have such a bad vibe about this guy. I guess I know first and last names, and the cities they live in, but I just don't know what to do.

Okay, I'll bite.

Are you sure you aren't so concerned because she's an 11? Are there any sixes that might be in some type of trouble?

Actually, I was concerned that I was more intent on stopping him than worrying about her. I spent plenty of time with most of the students, and there is a good range of numbers. None of them seem to have a guy like this focused on them. As I see it, most men find beautiful women unapproachable. This guy thinks he has a chance. Like I said above, he sees what I see, but he really seems intent on taking advantage.

re: #3 SteveMcG

If you have genuine reason to suspect that he will do harm to her, as in breaking the law, call the cops.

re: #4 Bob Levin

It has occurred to me, but what do I have? A gut feeling. I sent an email to another student who has her phone number and told her what I'm thinking. I don't know whether she's going to check for school emails.

SteveMcG --you need to talk to a professional about your concerns and learn what you can do--what your responsibilities are in your State.

People on a Blog cannot help you. Find the school social worker, or a psych in the area that knows the law and can help you sort out your perceptions.

re: #6 ggt

I know what you mean. I'm just worried about this weekend. She's moving on to a different school and he will lose contact with her. I'm going to see a policeman in the morning when I drop my daughter off at school. Once upon a time I would have seen this coming a mile away and I would have just crawled inside his head and fucked the shit out of him. Though in my defense I didn't realize that he was taking her picture all the time because I'm not that hip to smartphones, but I should still have known this wasn't normal. I figure I'll google the woman I emailed since she has a pretty unique name and see if I can come up with a way to contact her. Like I said all I need to do is get her to go somewhere different like "Let's go here instead." She wouldn't have to worry or even know that somebody was stalking her.

Watch: Burning Texas Railroad Bridge Crumples Like Dominoes
This wooden trestle was 103 years old but, hey, we're fired up about business in Texas, thanks to low taxes and minimum regulation. A fire toppled a railroad bridge like it was made of dominoes outside the small town of San Saba, Texas. Members of the Lometa, Texas, volunteer fire department arrived on the scene, but they could only contain the fire and ...

Masturbation ‘At the Root of Culture Wars’ - Boing Boing
. . . and that is why he is so sure of the 'miracle of the emaculate conception'". The Atlantic's Hugo Schwyzer has a theory: that masturbation, as the most common sex act, is the heart of modernity's war between Christianity and secularism. Many progressives were bewildered by Antonin Scalia's blistering 2003 dissent in Lawrence v Texas, in which he warned that state laws ...

My Response to Todays Speech-Standing O
Only the best of leaders dare to reduce the powers of their office or government. I applaud the effort in the strongest terms. Please support these changes with your own Congressman or Senator. Knights Templar Drug Cartel Burns Michoacan, Western State in Mexico
LA RUANA, Mexico -- The farm state of Michoacan is burning. A drug cartel that takes its name from an ancient monastic order has set fire to lumber yards, packing plants and passenger buses in a medieval-like reign of terror. The Knights Templar cartel is extorting protection payments from cattlemen, lime growers and businesses such as butchers, prompting some communities to fight back, ...

New Method for Producing Clean Hydrogen
Duke University engineers have developed a novel method for producing clean hydrogen, which could prove essential to weaning society off of fossil fuels and their environmental implications. While hydrogen is ubiquitous in the environment, producing and collecting molecular hydrogen for transportation and industrial uses is expensive and complicated. Just as importantly, a byproduct of most current methods of producing hydrogen is carbon monoxide, ...

Pope Francis Says Atheists Who Do Good Are Redeemed, Not Just Catholics
Pope Francis rocked some religious and atheist minds today when he declared that everyone was redeemed through Jesus, including atheists. During his homily at Wednesday Mass in Rome, Francis emphasized the importance of "doing good" as a principle that unites all humanity, and a "culture of encounter" to support peace. Using scripture from the Gospel of Mark, Pope Francis explained how upset Jesus' ...
