She's like Joe McCarthy, but with religious fundamentalism added on to make her even worse.

Michele Bachmann demands investigations into the Muslim Brotherhood's "deep penetration" into the U.S. government

I can't. Too easy.

Her time is growing short, and she obviously feels the pressure to get as much exposure as she can. Bachmann won't be in the next Congress, and the US will be better for it.

Thanks. It's working now.

This guy (Gaffney) is so toxic that even other conservatives have disowned him, and yet he has the ear of at least five members of congress.

lol

The lies this woman tells could fill a book.

- She lied and said she and her husband did not profit from government subsidized dairy farms. She did.

- She stated that when Pelosi was speaker, she ran up a $100,000 bar bill on military jets. It was less than $7,000.

- She stated Social Security is broke when it has a surplus.

- She said that Acorn is a paid part of the Census Bureau. Wrong.

- She said that the president released all of the oil from the strategic oil reserve. Wrong again.

- She said that our Founding Fathers fought to end slavery. No actually, many of them were slave owners.

- She said John Quincy Adams was one of our Founding Fathers. He was 9 when the Revolutionary War began. She probably meant John Adams, but with her slurs of misinformation, I won't call it a misspeak.

- She said John Wayne was from Waterloo, Iowa. No, that was John Wayne Gacy, the serial killer,

- She's been thought to pull these things from spam emails.

Not really the kind of deep penetration she should be looking for, but most likely, all she could possibly get.

Besides, didn't this Muslim Brotherhood story originate with the Bush administration? It's been going around for years and years.

Next she'll be wanting to tie people's right thumb to their left toe, then have them thrown into the Potomac to see if they float. //

Frank Gaffney. The usual suspects. LOL Speaking of the usual suspects, last summer it was Rep. Allen West (R-FL):

Immediately after the attacks in Norway, a group called Citizens for National Security claimed that they had uncovered a 5th column of thousands of American Muslims who are supposedly linked in some way to the Muslim Brotherhood. They even presented an elaborate organizational chart.

Back in 2010, a blogger with the New Times Broward-Palm Beach newspaper wrote a hilarious post about a cloak-and-dagger meeting with the founder and chairman of Citizens for National Security. You should read it if you have a minute.

Quite concur.

You might find this interesting. It's off the subject, but there will never be a subject for this to be relevant.

LOL! Thanks for sharing! I had no idea. Ish Kabibble was one of my dad's favorite sayings!

Even more ridiculous, Obama has done more for the cause of fighting terror than Bush and it's not just killing OBL, but capturing or killing other prominent terrorists. He takes this stuff pretty seriously. Not that Bachmann deals in actual facts or anything.

The saying "Ish Kabibble - I should worry?" suddenly came from nowhere to the front of my mind.

Remember his routines on the radio--must have been the late '40s. Sort of a sidekick/second banana.
