Here is an article about convicted Alaskan militia leader Schaeffer Cox for multiple felonies stemming from a weapons-and-murder conspiracy.

What is interesting about this for me is that the right wing’s main reason for defending almost no restrictions on the 2nd Amendment is that the 2nd Amendment right is in place to make sure the citizen militia’s can ‘one day’ overthrow the govt if it becomes ‘tyrannical’ or ‘opressive’.

My question then is who decides on the right when that criteria is met for use of the 2nd Amendment for such a reason?

Everytime a plot like this is uncovered the right wing always denies that the plans by this or that right wing militia were justified or in any way linked to their ideology and then when no one is looking re-assert that they are armed because one day they may need to overthrow the govt if it becomes tyrannical.
