note that using satellite imagery in Egypt also made news last year:

EGYPTIAN PYRAMIDS FOUND WITH NASA SATELLITE

There's probably a lot more throughout all of Northern Africa. Evidence of human remains are scattered all through the desert, but political considerations in the post WWII era has kept archeology hampered outside of the main Egyptian sites.

Sorry, they are not pyramids but a geologic feature called a laccolith. It's extremely clear by the formation around them. Could have saved a lot of time and money by just asking any geologist.
Thanks, but no thanks

I am inclined to agree with you, given the presence of other exposed igneous intrusions in the area. However, I can also see why Ms Micol is curious about the triangular formation. When viewed side-on, it does have a tiered appearance, like a pyramid.... or, like a sedimentary formation. Hopefully somebody will get out there and look at it, so we'll know for certain.

I agree with Steve. I've seen Angela's website and there are so many easily explainable features listed as anomalous that I have second-hand embarrassment. Furthermore, anyone that would include Lemurians on a list of possible explanations for land formations should be automatically suspect.

I'm on the 'We shall see' plan.

Google maps link

If you look to the north west, there is a large natural formation with the same triangle-shaped and circular mounds.

The triangle-shaped formation does have two circular rings on top of it, but they look like recent drillings to me. Each is about 30 ft across.

These look extremely natural to me, unless ancient mankind could shape fluid rock like that into impressive towers. Notice that there is no sign that stone blocks were used.
