Good grief.

Reminds me of a time when a very large business that shall remain unnamed had a similar problem. Their manager tried to stop a lady--who happened to be one of those ADA activists who go around going places and then suing--from bringing her service dog in with her.

This was after they'd already not had a ramp for her wheelchair. Two young employees had creatively solved that problem, but then the manager said, "No dogs".

"He's a service dog!" she explained.

"You don't look blind to me, lady," said the manager, thereby more or less blowing any chance of seeming sympathetic when the case came to court.

My service dog (Baruch) and I traveled nationwide from 1997 to 2006 (450+ commercial flights). We spent a significant amount of time educating others about service animals and ADA. This is the document I printed out, laminated and carried everywhere. Gave copies to business owners and/or their employees any time there was a question.

If you have ever worked fast food, you can understand this story.

Namely, this was a fast food manager. Some are fine. Some are not. It's the bottom of the adult career food chain.
