Don't downding the bot just for being a bot, folks. The story is useful.

I'm not down dinging him for being a bot. I'm down dinging him for having the same attitude towards the Palestinians that anti-semites have towards Jews, and for trying to spread that prejudice.

If you are going to make such a serious accusation like that, please include more than just your opinion.
I have never known that site to be racist.

Israeli police investigating Muslim-Christian brawl on Jerusalem's Mount of Olives
The brawl started when dozens of young Muslims stormed a housing complex built for young couples by Jerusalem's Christian community on land owned by the Catholic Church
Police said they are investigating a massive brawl between Muslims and Christians on the Mount of Olives in East Jerusalem. The battle, involving dozens of participants throwing stones and wielding iron bars, took place on Monday, August 20. A number of people were injured, homes were damaged and cars vandalized in the rampage, which lasted about 90 minutes.
The brawl started when dozens of young Muslims stormed a housing complex built for young couples by Jerusalem's Christian community on land owned by the Catholic Church and sold to them for nominal sums. The attack was stopped when other Muslim residents of the area intervened, forcing the attackers away. Christian residents say Israel Police arrived only after the incident had ended, though they had called several times and there is a Border Police base near the neighborhood.
One resident said that police told callers that the incident had been noted, but that no force would be dispatched to the scene. “Every day there are Border Police around here, but suddenly when there's an attack like this no one comes. It would have been enough for a Jeep to arrive, honk its horn, and they would have gone away. If people from the village hadn't intervened there would have been murder here, that's clear.”

Yes, it is. I'd say it was as nasty as it got because the people fighting were solely young men and the police did not get there till after it was over. In a case like that, a rumble like this can go on for some time.
The good news, such as it is, is that other Muslims did intervene and drove off the attacks and that the Christians living in the complex fought back.

You can't see the racism in that site? A site that seems dedicated too silencing a Palestinian point-of-view, and diminishing the presence of Arab Muslims in the region? You can't see the problem when almost all mention of Palestinians is in only context of "Propagandist" or "Terrorist."

I guess we both try to avoid reading from the site.
However, I see this site as being dedicated to media coverage, not so much the internal politics of the region. My problem with the site is not that I disagree with their perception of general media bias against Israel, but that they don't do the job as well as they could. Their articles are closer to the notes one would use to write a genuine article. Frequently the targets of the articles are The New York Times, Ha'aretz, CNN, Reuters, AFP, the AP, and so on. This particular post referred to an incident that received almost no coverage when it probably should have received a great deal of coverage--if the journalist's beat is Israel.

Correct, because it doesn't happen that way. I see you accusations, your charges as it were, but they are not true.
"dedicated too (sic) silencing a Palestinian point-of-view"
That is not what the site is dedicated to. It is mostly for exposing the media's double standard when it comes to reporting falsehoods about Israel.
"diminishing the presence of Arab Muslims in the region".
Again, not even close. I have never seen anything said/written on that site that can be called "diminishing the presence of Arab Muslims in the region".
Palestinians is in only context of "Propagandist" or "Terrorist."
This is false as well. This is in no way racist. The site has a POV, much like Media Maters would.

So Muslims stepped up to confront radicals and stopped them cold, protecting Christians.
Weird how Aigle-bot didn't bother to include that tidbit. It's almost as though they're promoting yet another dishonest point of view on the Middle East.
Fuck Aigle. And I do hope this gets more widely reported on-- Muslims resisting violence from the fanatics among them is something people should here more about. But how about we spread the real story, and not Aigle's pointed, obvious distortion.
