This is irrelevant for at least two reasons:

1 - The US will probably veto any meaningful recognition. (such as membership, for example)

2 - If you think the majority of UN members are genuine democracies*, then I’ve got a bridge to sell you.

* - I define a “genuine democracy” as having opens elections for real offices, as opposed to rigged elections and/or powerless figureheads respectively.

This clearly indicates the double-standard held against Israel and illustrates the level of demonization Israel has suffered at the hands of the international community. Their speeches are despicable.

The UN accepted the agreement and the land given to the Jews in the 20’s by the Allies of WW1 and the League of Nations. That land was known as the British Mandate. The Mandate or Trust has never been abrogated. It actually cannot be changed without Israel agreeing.

Gaza, Samaria and Judea are part of that mandate. All of that land is part of Israel and has been from the moment the Mandate was over.

In 1948 Israel did offer it to the Arab Palestinians. The Arab leadership refused that offer, preferring to use ethnic cleansing to take the whole (“from the river to the sea”). They failed to steal it.

That offer is no longer on the table. It has lapsed.

There have been other offers. And each time they have been declined by the Arab leaders who care not for the regular Arab Palestinian.

Jordan occupied Judea and Samaria illegally in 1948. It was never theirs. They committed ethnic cleansing to remove the Jews that had lived in that area for thousands of years. They renamed it “West Bank”, destroyed Jewish landmarks and cemeteries (a war crime).

The Jews recovered that land in 1967 in a war of defense. Again it was never Palestinian, it was never Arab lands, it was never legally part of Jordan.

It was from 1920 to today the land returned to the Jews by the world.

This isn’t about the bible, or even GODS promise.

This is about recent history. The ethnic cleansing that Jordan did was well documented. A Time-Life photographer watched and took pictures. The world saw the photographs and turned a blind eye.

If you call these land occupied, it is not only factually wrong, BUT it is supporting the narration of the people who did the ethnic cleansing. It is supporting the people who did occupy the land, illegally for 20 years.
