Reminds me of the flying idol in Zardoz, spewing out guns to the bandit minions.
“The gun is good. Go forth and kill!”

The USA is the leading arms dealer on earth. Israel is #10. I don’t see Iran on this list….

Your point being? Do you honestly want to equate selling arms to legitimate governments (USA, Israel etc.) to selling arms to bandit gangs?
WTF dude…

What’s the difference in evil between Saudi Arabia (a major American arms buyer) and some bandit gang? A capital city?

Rule of law, for starters. I don’t like their laws any more than you do but it’s a big fucking difference all right.

I fail to see the difference when for example American made weapons helped carry out the genocide in East Timor by a Pentagon trained and American armed Indonesian military.

El Salvador’s death squads?

List goes on and on.

…Governments can go bad - without intent on the part of the seller. that’s a big fucking difference with intentionally selling to such gangs.
If you really can’t see that I guess I’m just done with you - you, as usual, appear not to be in good faith here. either that or you’re an immense idiot.

You sound as if Saudi Arabia was once a “good” nation? We sold to Indonesia after the govt there carried out a pogrom of Chinese on the pretext of anti-communism.

So spare me the elf-righteousness.

Destro, of course you won’t find Iran anywhere on that list. The arms sales from Iran aren’t reported through official channels.

re: #10 Mich-again

You really think Iran’s arms sales even come close to those of the top 20?
