Is it too soon to talk about gun control now?

No, he shouldn’t have shot people. But having lived downstairs in two different situations with upstairs neighbors from hell, I’ve learned NEVER take a downstairs apartment. Construction is so shoddy in many apartments that your ceiling is probably your neighbor’s floor, and if you have the misfortune to have a)a neighbor who works a weird shift and decides to perpetually houseclean at 3 in the morning or b)a neighbor on crack who gets the jitters and housecleans at 3 in the morning, then you may literally be driven to a nervous breakdown if you are trying to sleep under that. Lesson: ALWAYS take an upstairs apartment. If you can’t get one, rent some place else.

Another page from the book, “Shit Runs Downhill.”

I can understand the guy’s frustration about rude neighbors and their rude dog drama - I’ve seen many such dog owners. And it sounds like the asshole dog owners were antagonistic with their dogshit-on-the-porch stunt. But shooting them - seriously? Call them cocksuckers, turn them in to the health department, play Justin Bieber so loud their ears bleed, but shoot them?

Geesh man, there’s a fate worse than death. Right there.

Senile gun owners are something we should probably be concerned about. Families should take gramp’s gun just like they take his car keys, but I expect that could get pretty crazy.

Loosing one’s temper and possessing a gun is a very dangerous mix ;as I discovered myself many years ago.
I sold the gun!
